We’re really excited to have Charming Beard Coffee in Salt Lake. Why? It’s certainly not the first roaster in town. Companies like Ibis and Millcreek are doing a great job. But Charming Beard is the first coffee in Salt Lake from the third wave of coffee. What does that mean? Read this post by Charming Beard’s roaster, Levi Rogers.
If you seek out the best coffee when you travel, you might have come across roasters like Stumptown in Portland, Coava in Portland, Intelligentsia in Chicago, Four Barrel in San Francisco, Blue Bottle in San Francisco, Handsome in LA and others. Charming Beard is Salt Lake City’s version of those iconic roasters.
I liked Charming Beard on Facebook. Having recently moved from LA, I have missed really good coffee, so I am excited to try Charming Beard.

I <3 Coffee! I like to change it up and try different roasts. It would be exciting to have a 3rd wave roast in the house. As much as I like Star buck and Carribou, I'm just not as impressed with their take home beans.
I roast at home and would love to try your offerings. The third wave of coffee is a renaissance for the growers and drinkers, bring about new awareness and appreciation.
I can’t wait to try it. I know my husband will be excited to hear about it, too.
