We had a killer time at yesterday’s SLC Mixer. Jim Santangelo from the Wine Academy of Utah walked us through some of the basics of cocktail mixing and then presented some tasty cocktails from the some the best drink makers in town.
Who was there? Here’s the line up:
If you missed the promotion on the front end, here’s what happened: Wine Academy of Utah and SLC Mixers teamed up to bring you an event of some of the top bartenders/mixologists in Salt Lake City. Each of these guys created a new cocktail using and explained the techniques behind their creations. 42 of us gathered in the SLC Mixers tasting space generously loaned to us by Missio Dei Community.
Taste their creations for yourself. Below you’ll find each of their drinks and recipes.

We had a great night at this event. We hope to see you at future SLC Mixer events upcoming. SLCMixers.com.
We had such a good time at this mixer! It was interesting to taste such complex cocktails. I found one or two of them challenging to my palate, but in a good way.
I felt the same way Julia! I was so glad they weren’t just ho-hum but really challenged me. I’m so glad you guys came!
These mixers look really fun. It is apparent that you are proving to be a real food expert in the SLC area.
