  1. Some fruit from the Farmer’s Market, mushroom salad from a Russian store, homemade zucchini bread and of course great spreads, cheese and chocolates at the Alpha Dominche’s SLC Mixer event!

  2. Grilled Flatbread with a Bluecheese Mascapone sauce topped with Carmelized onions, toasted walnuts, and grapes. It was accompanied by a nectarine, mozzarella, and prosciutto salad. DELISH! Best part, homemade.

  3. I was at a family reunion, so I ate a lot of junky food. Delicious junky food, though. My fave was a philly cheesesteak wrap.

  4. Went camping with friends and family and of course ended up sick all weekend. While everyone else was heaping their plates high with heirloom tomato salad, juicy melon, and glorious honey chicken kabobs, not to mention the bottomless wine and mimosas, I had my box of saltines and ginger ale in hand…. I’m In need of some good grub! 😉

  5. I had delicious vegetables out of our garden, enjoyed a fabulous meal at Pallet, and a poolside BBQ! What a tasty weekend indeed!

  6. Some highlights of last weekend’s food: Homemade banana bread with chocolate chips and crystalized ginger. Chana masala with brown rice and crispy potatoes. BBQ at Snowbasin. And LOTS of coffee!

  7. We ate at Cena Ristorante in Deer Valley on Sunday night. Mike enjoyed an antipasti appetizer that included Creminelli sausage, bleu cheese, and onion marmalade while I enjoyed my appetizer of tomato mozzerella salad. For dinner, I had roasted chicken and artichoke pizza and Mike had summer pasta with seasonal vegetables. For dessert, I melted in my seat while enjoying a concoction of lemon sorbet with cinnamon streusel and blueberry rosemary compote. We also had some gelato made in-house: peanut butter chocolate chip, nutella, and cookie dough. I wet my whistle thoughout the whole meal with blueberry mint lemonade. It was amazing. Amazing.
