I sat on the patio at Ekamai Thai Curry on a November day.  That’s not normal.  Yes, for a bit it was frustratingly warm in Salt Lake allowing for an extended season on patios, though now the snow and cold is taking over.  Come January, perhaps I’ll be talking about how it’s frustratingly cold.  I’m inconsistent, I know, but SLC satisfies those inconsistent in their weather desires – four great seasons.

Ekamai’s currys are wonderful and well priced.  Is the thai food on the patio in November not good enough?  Ok, walk next door and have some Bruges Waffles for dessert…if you can handle it.

In full disclosure, some of the kind folks at Isis contacted us to try out Isis.  Salt Lake City is a test market for the new pay-from-your-phone payment option.  A lot of place around town have adopted the technology.  Thankfully for us, a lot of good food places now take Isis.  So we indulged a great lunch at Ekamai and paid with Isis.  Easy.
