Caputo’s Locavore Market

Reviewed by Becky
Every Thursday at Tony Caputo’s new location, 15th and 15th (opening soon), local farmers and food vendors will be selling fresh local goods. The vendors will be setting up shop on the front patio from 3-7pm starting July 22nd.  Here is the line up of what you can purchase:

Butcher’s Bunches: Premium preserves made by Liz Butcher of Logan.  She uses her own or locally purchased produce and also uses liqueus, bleu cheese, and chocolate in her jams.
Les Madeleines: They are bringing Kouing Aman and more pastries from their downtown store along with Dry Sodas.
Morgan Valley Meats: lamb, beef
Happy Monkey Hummus: Erin and Dave have over 12 kinds of handmade hummus.
Clifford Family Farms: Mostly known for their incredible eggs, but they also have great produce, mostly greens I believe.
Melanie’s Sweets & Treats:  Melanie has great handmade snacks.  Look for Sweet and Spicy Popcorn and her handmade chocolate truffles and cupcakes.
Grandma Tina’s: Pasta Sauces
Aquarius Fish: Our very well known neighbor will be bringing fish flown in that morning.  We love their scallops and wild salmon
Star G Bar: Piedmontese beef

  1. Of course you'll be seeing me at this market! Can't wait to be taking a walk down to pick up some of the best meats and cheeses in the valley. I had heard that they were going to open before the end of July- YEA! It's here!
