As you know Caputo’s Market and Deli has a plethora of local goods and specialty foods available to the general public. I personally could walk around this little market for way to long, just glancing over all of the yummy products they carry from dried pastas, to cheese, chocolate and condiments. Here are some items I would recommend picking up at Caputo’s for friends and family this holiday season: Slide Ridge Honey Wine Vinegar, aged Balsamic vinegar, Amedei Chocolate, Italian risotto rice, dried pasta, unusual salts, or imported condiments like my favorite Walnut Mustard from the Burgundy region of France. But really, the foodie gifts have no limits at Caputo’s. What I’m most excited about is their new Chocolate Tasting in a Box gift set!!
If you’re more interested in giving an experience over an actual food item, Caputo’s now offers chocolate tasting classes in a box, so you can enjoy a class in the privacy of your home with close friends. Today we’re giving away A Chocolate Tasting in a Box to one lucky winner. Here’s the description of the Chocolate Tasting Box:
Bean-to-bar beauties to flavored revelations – this collection presents some of the world’s top chocolate makers and their most stunning bars. Throw a tasting party with a group of close friends and chocolate lovers. Or savor each morsel alone. Either way, taste and learn from the next generation of fine chocolate masters. Who couldn’t learn more about chocolate? The difference between someone who eats and someone who really enjoys food is the level of education about food. I might keep something like this for me.
Sign me up for anything chocolate and I’ll nibble and savor for weeks.
I love Amano chocolate. One year I drove to their warehouse store to buy cocoa nib brittle and brownies to give as gifts. I don’t know how I resisted eating them myself…
