Whole Foods opens in Draper

Reviewed by Josh

Whole Foods has opened it’s doors in Draper with an offering specific to the neighborhood.  The Whole Foods team did a thorough job researching the local demographic and came up with a unique store, including a selection you can’t find at any other Whole Foods location. Here are a few things you’ll find at the new store:

A pickle bar serving up local Yeehaw pickles

Crock pot prepared foods in the salad bar area as well as warm grab and go foods like hot sandwiches, wings, and lasagna

7 flavors of rotisserie chicken

Fresh pressed juices

Lots of decaffinated drinks at their coffee bar including tea for two (the Red Roobios Tea Lattes are especially good!)

A kids play area with a chalk wall

A cookie bar with gluten free and vegan baked goods (great for gifts and a quick treat)

Soap Saavy, a new line of soaps only sold here

Local breads from bakeries like Eva’s Bakery downtown

Seasonal foods like Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

AND A CREAMERY!!  This is the first Whole Foods to offer a creamery with house-made ice creams like their Draper Dandy with pretzels, caramel, brownies, and peanuts. They have 30 flavors including some made with almond milk for those who are lactose intolerant. Whole Foods Draper Creamery

If you’re buying for a big group or are trying to feed a lot of hungry kiddos, they offer 10% off when you buy a whole case of something.  And just a littler reminder of a great Whole Foods tradition – every Wednesday they offer discounts on Whole Rotisserie Chickens and every Friday whole pizzas are discounted.

There’s lots to check out at the new store and plenty of specials going on during the opening week so go check out the new store!
