Spice Incubator Kitchen in Salt Lake

Spice- Salt Lake’s First Incubator Kitchen

Reviewed by Josh

So many of us have dreamed of Salt Lake having an incubator kitchen and now it’s finally happening!  The folks of the IRC (International Rescue Committee) have started a mentorship and kitchen training center on State Street.  If you’re interested in getting involved by volunteering or donating, they would love your support.

Here’s a little more info about Spice

It is a community kitchen space to bring together refugees and other disadvantaged community members interested in starting a full or part-time food business. Participants develop successful food businesses, preserve their culinary traditions and share their talents with the Salt Lake County community. They have access to commercial kitchen space, training and workshops, help with market positioning, and technical assistance and mentorship.

SPICE Kitchen Incubator aims to provide the necessary skills to new entrepreneurs to build viable food businesses.
