A couple of weekends ago, we did get to go to Park City Mountain Resort and dine at Legends Bar and Grill for lunch. I had some of the best nachos I have ever tasted, topped with mango chutney and fresh seared ahi tuna. Only in Park City are there such exquisite embellishments on top of such a traditional American dish. Josh’s Kobe beef burger was graced with goat cheese and crispy onions on top of a huge bun. Now this is legit ski food, no hot dogs or overcooked chili.
Now, of course, their is a time and place for simple ski food but Park City is not going to offer you that. Although their prices are high, the food is mouthwatering.
Legends is located in the Park City Mountain Resort Plaza in the Legacy Lodge and is the perfect place for a long lunch during your ski day. If you want to get back on the slopes more quickly, their nachos have a super quick turn around and provide just enough food to fuel you for your afternoon runs.
I better strap on my boots because there is still a lot of skiing and snowshoeing to be done this year!
Weekend Credits for you:
(this is a new addition of fun links for you to browse. I hope to have these along with my Friday posts.)
Super mystified by this purple barley. I can imagine how beautiful it would look beside pork chops or in a soup.
Wish I was more crafty so I could make this lamp out of doilies. Love love it!
Stackable bake ware…I feel like I’m in the future!
Maybe the coolest gift I’ve ever seen. You can adopt an olive tree and get the olive oil it produces throughout the year.
What fun sites have you stumbled upon this week?
Have a lovely weekend friends!
the lamp is gorgeous! we are in the process of an order for similar… ours is made with string really pretty. LOVE the olive tree idea!
Okay, I am going there to sample those nachos – wow!
