I’m convinced I have found the best cannoli in town. Served fresh at Carlucci’s Bakery, there is no comparing to others around Salt Lake. They wait to fill the pastry shell with fresh mascarpone cheese and chocolate chips right when you order it. If you haven’t already, you must pick up a Cannoli at Carlucci’s.
In addition to good cannoli, Carlucci’s also has great chicken salad served on a butter croissant and an amazing veggie sandwich with hummus on herb focaccia bread. Plus they are located in a foodie haven, right next door to Tony Caputo’s Market and Deli, Aquarius Fish Market, Ekamai Thai, and Bruges Waffles and Frites.

I used to work at the SL Tribune, over at Gateway, and had a serious addiction to Carlucci's cannolis! Their pasta salad is also to die for.
